Park & Recreation Trunk or Treat: Sat. October 18
Join us for a fun-filled evening of Halloween festivities at Sudbury Recreation’s Trunk or Treat event! This family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together for a night of creative costumes, decorated vehicles, games, and of course, plenty of treats.

This event is FREE to attend for the public, so bring your friends and family to enjoy the festivities.
Event Highlights
6 – 6:30PM: The event kicks off at 6:00 PM with a sensory-friendly time for the first half-hour. During this period, the Trunk or Treat area will feature reduced noise and lighting to accommodate those with sensory sensitivities.
6:30 – 8 PM: Trunk or Treat continues with a variety of creatively decorated vehicles offering candy and treats to trick-or-treaters.
Music, Games & Activities: Parks & Rec staff will be running fun games for all ages throughout the evening.
Participation Information
Public “Trunk” Registration
Community members are encouraged to join in the fun by registering their vehicles to participate in the Trunk or Treat. The cost is $10 per vehicle, and you can get creative with your decorations to impress the crowd and share some Halloween joy. Everyone that registers for a Trunk and shows up will get their $10 credited to their account (making the event free for them). Given last year’s success it is important to have a MINIMUM of 7 Bags of candy.
Vendors/Sponsors Trunk or Table
Businesses and organizations are invited to take part in the event by decorating a vehicle and handing out treats. The cost to participate is $25, which includes a spot to showcase your business or organization, along with the opportunity to display signage. This is a great way to engage with the community in a fun and interactive setting.
