Tuesday night, the Board of Selectmen met with Attorney Jonathan Silverstein, who will be representing the Town and Board of Selectmen’s interests at upcoming hearings regarding the Sudbury Station Project.

Silverstein, from Kopelman and Paige, P.C. has extensive experience in municipal law, land use and permitting. He has already jumped feet first into the project, but welcomed the meeting with the Board in order to learn even more about their concerns and how he can assist the Town.

The Board, which hired Silverstein after requests from interested residents and a citizen petition at Special Town Meeting, voiced concerns similar to those previously voiced by the Board in their various letters opposing the project, including letters written to the Zoning Board of Appeals and MassHousing.

Each of the Board members shared their concerns and the Board as a whole reinforced their support and respect for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the great job they have done dealing with numerous applications.

Attorney Silverstein will be representing the Board of Selectmen at each of the public hearings throughout the Sudbury Station process.
