The Blue Ribbon Housing Site Selection Committee (BRHSSC)was established by the Board of Selectmen on July 22, 2003. It was the intention of the Selectmen to provide a mechanism for a due diligence evaluation of Town-owned land, to identify parcels that would be suitable for the type of scattered site rental housing units as presented by the Sudbury Housing Authority to the 2003 Sudbury Annual Town Meeting. The BRHSSC has now had three meetings. The meetings have covered the history of prior work, developing a working list of all possible available sites in Town, and the evaluation criteria that will be used to review sites.

The BRHSSC is committed to have an open and well documented process of reviewing the sites. Meeting minutes and agendas are posted on the Town website and at Town Hall. Future meetings are scheduled for every other Wednesday beginning October 1 in order to complete the work of the Committee in time for Town Meeting in 2004.
