The Community Housing Specialist has prepared an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice report for Sudbury. The report summarizes data from fifteen sources including the 2000 Census, information from Sudbury housing specialists and providers, and other regional sources. It provides – under one cover – all information on our housing programs and benefits for all protected classes under the Fair Housing Acts. The Board of Selectmen have endorsed the report, and on May 15, 2008 it was submitted to the WestMetro HOME consortium. This report is required by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development as Sudbury is a recipient of HOME funds. Sudbury is pleased to have such a source of data which will assist in defining future housing program requirements, and will continue to update it in years to come.
