State Sen. Jamie Eldridge and State Rep. Carmine Gentile at the Sudbury Veterans Appreciation Luncheon.

The Sudbury Senior Center along with the Sudbury Veterans Agent and many community and senior volunteers, hosted the 8th annual Sudbury Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, November 9.  The event featured delicious chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and butternut squash from Longfellow’s Wayside Inn, along with scrumptious cake and coffee.  About 70 participants enjoyed lunch served to their tables by many returning volunteers from the community and the Senior Center.  Special guest this year was Cap. Mark Goudzwaard, U.S. Army of Natick, who shared stories from his years of service.  Many thanks to our generous sponsors: Longfellow’s Wayside Inn and the Lt. Scott Milley Fund.
