The Community Preservation Committee has received 6 proposals for funding to be considered at the April 2004 Annual Town Meeting. The deadline to submit proposals ended on October 15, 2003. The projects involve all 4 eligible categories, and were submitted by both public and private interests.

The largest proposal is to purchase the development rights on the Cutting property, estimated at $4.7 million. In addition, a second proposal to develop a portion of the Cutting property into recreational field space was submitted in the amount of $600,000. These projects are submitted by the Town Manager.

Funds for new walkway construction are requested in the amount of $100,000, again submitted by the Town Manager.

Technical assistance for determining buildability on town properties for scattered site rental housing has been requested by the Sudbury Housing Authority in the amount of $20,000.

A project to preserve and restore the Sudbury Revolutionary War Cemetery on Concord Road is proposed by the Sudbury Historical Commission and the Town Manager in the amount of $172,350.
