All municipalities are required by the Americans with Disabilities Act to have an active Self Evaluation and Transition Plan.  The ADA requires Towns to implement the remedies indicated within a three to five year time period.

Attached are all seven files of the final report produced by the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD):

  • Part A – Executive Summary
  • Part B – Policies and Practices
  • Part C – Self Evaluation Summary
  • Municipal Buildings
  • Parks and Open Spaces
  • Schools
  • Priorities All Sites

Parts A, B, and C are narrative reports and recommendations.

Each of the next three files contains a table for each site and detailed facts and a photo for each item that requires remedy.

“Priorities” is an Excel file with three sheets, one for each category.  It has all the data from the report tables, and each data line is given a priority rating by the IHCD and estimated cost for remedy.
