Drain Improvement Night Road Work

The DPW is conducting night work in order to assess the condition of existing drain infrastructure.

Purpose

To determine the need for improvements and repairs to the drain infrastructure along Pratt’s Mill and Goodman’s Hill Roads. A camera is used to televise the conditions. A hydro jet and vacuum are used to clear the pipes, enabling the camera to obtain an accurate image while also removing grime, sand and debris from the system.

 

Locations

Pratt’s Mill Road: October 22-24, 8PM – 3AM
Goodman’s Hill Road: October 27 – 30, 8PM – 3AM

 

What to Expect
  • Roads where the work is being conducted will be closed to through traffic from 8PM – 3AM.
  • Hydro jetting and vacuuming of the drain system can be loud while in progress.
