“Breaking” News – ALL FOUR SIDEWALK MACHINES ARE BROKEN DOWN

The Public Works Team continued to clear the 44 miles of walkways throughout town overnight. Just before lunch today all four (4) machines have broken down. The dedicated Team is evaluating the repairs along with our equipment vendors. We are working productively to have as many of these units running again as soon as possible so we can continue to clear the walks.

Of note, all walkways have been plowed throughout the event utilizing the “V” plow attachments on the sidewalk machines and therefore should be traversable, however, it is our goal to fully clean these walks with the snow blowers to ensure they are cleared and easily passable.

The entire Public Works Team appreciates your patience as we continue our snow removal operations into the third (3rd) day.
