Does the community aggregation program provide Green Energy choice? What choices do I have in terms of resource mix and/or cost of energy?

Since its inception the program saves about $80 annually for an average electricity user in Sudbury, and supports cleaner electricity generation.  

The current program provides 3 options:

• Basic choice – meets the Massachusetts state’s standards for renewable energy mix.
• Sudbury Green choice – 100% above the Massachusetts state’s standards for renewable energy mix.
• Premium 100% Local Green choice – offers renewable energy generated in New England.

Any product described as “Green” will have renewable energy certificates as required by the state.
