Light Equipment Operator, Dept. of Public Works
The Town of Sudbury Department of Public Works (DPW) seeks a Full-Time Light Equipment Operator to perform varied work, such as driving/operating vehicles and equipment engaged in DPW construction, maintenance, snow removal, and other projects /activities, and repairing and constructing streets, sidewalks, signs, fences, manholes, drains, and other public facilities.
Starting salary: $25.97/hour (FY26), plus excellent benefits. Possession of Commercial Driver’s License preferred or must be able to obtain within 6 months (training and class provided). Some benefits include: Meal allowance every 4 hours during storm conditions and an extra 4 hours of overtime for every continuous 16 hours during storm conditions is provided. Open until filled.
