Teen Center Coordinator
The Town of Sudbury Park and Recreation Department is looking for someone with strong supervisory and leadership skills to develop, administer, and promote teen programs, particularly the Teen Center run at our facility. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge, skills and capacity for successfully working with and mentoring young people. Applicants must also possess the initiative and skills to work in collaboration with other agencies in the community and parent volunteers to develop new programs that will meet the social, recreational, and educational needs of teens. A Teen Center program is scheduled twice a month during the school year on Friday evenings for 7th and 8th grade students and involves approximately 350 participants. Additional duties include recruitment and hiring of qualified staff, performance management, and handling the budget. This is a part-time job, 10-15 hours during the school year, paid on an hourly basis. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of experience working with teens and/or in a supervisory capacity is desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
