The Town of Sudbury acting by its Town Manager, represented by the Permanent Building Committee, invites sealed bids for the Loring Parsonage Rehabilitation Project: Renovation and Addition, located at 288 Old Sudbury Rd., Sudbury, MA. Bids of general contractors qualified and holding a current Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) Certificate in Historic Building are due by 2:00 p.m. on August 22, 2018, and must be accompanied by an Update Statement.  Bids of filed sub-bidder contractors qualified and holding current DCAMM certificate in the categories of Roofing, Lathing & Plastering, Painting, Elevators, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical are due by 2:00 p.m. on August 8, 2018, and must be accompanied by an Update Statement.

All bids will be received at the Town of Sudbury Board of Selectmen’s Office, Flynn Building, 278 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, at the times and dates stated, accompanied by a 5% bid deposit.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wages apply. Performance and Payment of Labor and Materials Bonds are required each in 100% of the contract price. Construction commencement is expected to take place in September 2018. The estimated cost of the project is $1M.

A Pre-bid Conference will be held on August 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the site.

One electronic copy of the Bid Documents at no charge may be obtained by General Bidders and each filed sub-bidder from the Architect, Spencer, Sullivan & Vogt, Inc., between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday – Fridays via email request to dmanley@ssvarchitects.com commencing July 25, 2018, 4 p.m. Contractors are responsible for printing.

The Town of Sudbury reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest so to do, and to act upon the bids and make its award in any lawful manner.
