The Sudbury Police and Fire Chiefs would like to bring to the public’s attention a change in the call handling process for non 911 and business calls to the Sudbury Fire Department. As part of the change of location of the fire dispatch to the police station all calls to the fire department will be answered at the police station in the combined public safety dispatch area. Calls intended for the fire department will be forwarded by the Public Safety Dispatchers to the fire station as was always the case with 911 calls. When calling on regular non 911 phone lines to either the Police or Fire departments you will be answered by a Public Safety Dispatcher who will  forward the your call to the appropriate Public Safety Department.

Respectfully,

Sudbury Police/Fire Departments
