Town Manager Maureen Valente will preside over the intial meeting of the newly-created Budget Review Task Force (BRTF), formally established on June 19, 2007, by the Board of Selectmen. The BRTF organizational meeting will be held in the DPW Conference Room, 275 Old Lancaster Rd. at 8:00 p.m.
The Mission Statement of the Budget Review Task Force defines the Committee’s purpose as providing a mechanism to study the Town’s recurring budgetary deficit situation and determine if there are ways, both in the short term and over the long term, to enhance revenues or reduce expenses beyond what the Town is already doing.
