Sudbury Cleanup Day. Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Sudbury’s Annual Roadside Cleanup Day will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Join in the general beautification of Sudbury roads, public areas and parks. We need everyone’s help in this important effort. Each year, Sudbury civic groups, businesses and residents volunteer their time and energy to pick up litter all over town.

Help keep Sudbury beautiful. Adopt a Street.

SIGN UP TODAY!

How it Works

  1. Sign Up – Participants sign up to Adopt a Street for cleanup. On Saturday, April 22, 2023, everyone who volunteered picks up litter discarded in the area(s) they selected to beautify.
  2. Clean Up – Gather your cleanup supplies (any large garbage bag will do), head to your adopted area and bag up litter along the roadside/park area.
  3. Stay Safe – Please follow Safety Guidelines (gloves, insect repellent and more – please read carefully) during cleanup.
  4. Prep for Pickup  Place the bagged litter in one consolidated pile at a visible area along your adopted route, preferably at the intersection of two streets whenever possible. DPW crew will pick up bagged litter during the week of April 24 – please do not leave bags out prior to Cleanup Day, if possible. PLEASE NOTE: Only bags left along adopted routes can be picked up

That’s it! Sudbury’s roads and parks will be cleaner and healthier thanks to your efforts!
