Sudbury Celebrates 375 Field Day and Fireworks THIS SATURDAY!

The LS Field Day and Fireworks Event to celebrate Sudbury’s 375^th Anniversary is this Saturday, September 6, starting at noon. Fireworks will begin at approximately 8:30. Should the forecast call for rain, the event will operate on a “rain delay” scheme and some events may be be moved inside Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School.

Parking is limited at LSRHS. Handicapped parking is available. It is strongly suggested that you utilize the shuttle bus service being offered from Loring School, Haskell Field, Town Hall and Haynes School. Buses will operate from those four locations in continuous loops starting at 11:30 a.m. and continuing until all persons have left LS after the fireworks. Parking areas and bus stop locations are marked by signs at those locations. Persons living near the shuttle bus stops are urged to walk to the stops. Alternate but also limited parking locations include Featherland Park and Nixon Schools for those willing to walk to LS. No parking will be permitted on Concord Road, Lincoln Road, or any of the LSRHS neighborhood side roads. That parking ban will be strictly enforced by the Sudbury Police Department.
