SUDBURY, MA—The Sudbury Day entertainment committee seeks individuals or groups who would like to share something that is representative of their culture, such as dancing or music, on the main entertainment stage at this year’s Sudbury Day. If chosen, the performances would take place some time between noon and 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, in Sudbury Center—rain or shine (inside Peter Noyes Elementary School if it’s raining).

Since this year’s event focuses on countries that border the Mediterranean Sea, the committee is particularly interested in performances that relate to those countries, such as Spanish Flamenco dancing or Italian opera. All groups will be considered, although selection is not guaranteed.

Even if you aren’t part of the entertainment, there are many ways for you to get involved in Sudbury Day, which will enable you to meet and learn more about the people in your community:

  • Volunteer to help on one of the committees or on the day of the event. As thanks, each volunteer receives two free Passports to the games area of the Children’s Pavilion, a $20 value. High School students are also eligible to receive Community Service credits.
  • Exhibit your business or nonprofit organization’s wares and services with a booth in The Marketplace
  • Sponsor the event and receive premier exposure for your business or organization

You can also get up-to-the-minute information to maximize your enjoyment of Sudbury Day—and have the opportunity to win great prizes and receive exclusive offers from our sponsors and exhibitors—by becoming a “Sudbury Day Insider” when you join our mailing list.
