The town committee studying solid waste disposal and recycling options is asking Sudbury residents for help.

The Solid Waste Management Options Committee (SWMOC) is distributing a

questionnaire to gain information on residents’ current trash and recycling disposal methods and to get feedback on alternative methods.

The questionnaire is available in an online form at the town website, sudbury.ma.us/swmoc.

Residents are encouraged to fill it out online.

Paper copies of the questionnaire are available at the Goodnow Library, the Fairbank Senior Center, and the Transfer Station Put & Take area. Paper copies may be returned to one of those locations or mailed to:

SWMOC
Flynn Building,
278 Old Sudbury Road
Sudbury, MA 01776.

The deadline for submitting both online and paper versions of the survey is Friday, Sept. 26.

The committee plans to hold a public hearing on the subject later in the fall.

SWMOC expects to make its recommendations to the Selectmen by the end of 2008.

For more information about the survey and the committee, visit the town website, www.sudbury.ma.us, and click on Committees, or contact the committee at swmoc@sudbury.ma.us.
