New Vendor Annex Transit

The Town of Sudbury is delighted to share that they have signed a contract with Annex Transit. Annex is a service-oriented company offering specialized non-emergency medical transport services. It is licensed and insured for Wheelchair, Non-Emergency Medical and Ambulatory transportation services in Massachusetts.

Starting May 1, 2023, the Town will start using Annex services to expand Go Sudbury! Taxi with medical rides that are declined by current Taxi Companies due to the high demand of rides. In addition, Annex will provide rides for other purposes to Go Sudbury! participants who are unable to access Uber services due to: physical, sensory, or cognitive disability, or other limitations that may prevent them from accessing the Uber services.

Who May Use Annex for Non-Medical Rides?

Persons with a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability, or other limitations that may prevent them from accessing the Uber services are eligible to apply to use Annex Transit.  Please contact Ana Cristina Oliveira at 978-639-3268 or oliveiraa@sudbury.ma.us to apply.

Where Can I Go and What Will I Pay?

The service area covers a circle 25 miles around Sudbury. All rides must begin or end in Sudbury. Service is provided to the Logan Express Shuttle in Framingham, but not to Logan Airport. There is a limit of 10 one-way rides per month. There is currently no copay, though this could change.

How Do I Sign Up for the Go Sudbury! Taxi Rides Program?

To apply to use Annex, please register for the Taxi Program by completing the application form at the following link: GoSudbury Taxi Application

If you have any questions, please contact Ana Cristina Oliveira, Outreach Specialist for information.  She can also provide a hard copy of the application. Applications will be processed by Senior Center staff and participants will get a confirmation by phone or email. Please be prepared to provide information to verify your eligibility.

Please note: This program has limited funding, please utilize it during the time you would not be able to use other transportation. Please consider the Sudbury Connection Van service during service hours on weekdays: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.  Transportation is available within Sudbury and to other towns, for specific purposes such as medical appointments.
