The Town of Sudbury is accepting letters of interest from qualified consultants to assist the Town with providing housing administrative services in conjunction with the establishment of a Regional Housing Services Office (RHSO).

The Towns of Bedford, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Sudbury, and Weston have just signed an Inter-Municipal Agreement to share housing administrative services, anticipating a benefit in preserving their investments in affordable housing through proactive monitoring and leveraging regional expertise.  Sudbury, as the lead community, will establish the Regional Housing Services Office, to deliver the agreed upon services.

The establishment of the RHSO is the result of two years effort sponsored by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and led by the Town Managers of the participating towns.  Sudbury participated in both these efforts as a municipality with experience to share, and expertise to provide.

The RHSO will be staffed by the Community Housing Manager, and contract assistance from a qualified persons, as described in the RFQ – Community Housing Specialist.  Resumes with Letters of Interest will be accepted until the position is filled and should be sent to the Planning and Community Development Office, 278 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA, or emailed to [email protected]. Any questions can be directed to Beth Rust, Community Housing Office, 978-639-3388.
