Hot, humid weather can drain your energy and leave you dehydrated.  Take care by slowing down, drinking water/fluids, staying out of the sun, using air conditioning and fans.  If you don’t have air conditioning or it isn’t cooling you down, seek air conditioning at the Goodnow Library during it’s special hours, or at local stores – to give your body a break for an hour or two.

Goodnow Library is open Saturday, June 30 from 10 AM-5 PM, and Sunday, July 1 from 1 – 5 PM.  If you have questions, please call the Police Department business line at 978-443-1042.

If you have signs of heat stress or shock, please call 911 to get help.

The Senior Center will be open from 9 AM – 4 PM on Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3, closed on Wed. July 4, and open on Thursday and Friday from 9 AM-4 PM.

Prevention is your best defense!
