Property Tax Work-Off Program

The Property Tax Work-Off Program provides a $1,500 property tax abatement to eligible Sudbury residents who provide 100 hours of work to a Town department.

 

The Property Tax Work-off Program is for Sudbury residents who are:

  • age 60 and over OR
  • veterans of any age

AND

  • own and live in a home in Sudbury

 

Those with skills and interests applicable to an open job may be placed and can earn up to a $1,500 property tax abatement for 100 hours of work. The tax abatement is applied in the following calendar year.

Tax Work-off jobs are available based on the matching of current departmental needs with applicable skills of the applicants, and, as such, are not guaranteed.
