The Town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, represented by the Town Manager, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for:
- GUARDRAIL INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT
BID DEPOSIT: 5% OF TOTAL BID FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2021
BID OPENING: Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM
in accordance with drawings, specifications and conditions for said project.
In accordance with M.G.L. c.30, Section 39M, the Town of Sudbury seeks sealed bids for the 2021 Guardrail Installation and Replacement Project. Bidding documents, including Specifications and forms, may be obtained at the Office of the Director of Public Works, 275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 from
9:00 AM to 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday or via email at [email protected]
Only bidders who can comply with the following should submit bids as only such Bidders will be considered qualified:
- To bid on this project, Contractors must be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Highway Division in the Guard Rail and Fencing category in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00, Prequalification of Contractors and Prospective Bidders for Statewide Engineering Field Survey Services. “Informational Only” copies of the Contract Documents will be available to any individual or firm.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of treasurers check, certified check payable to the Town of Sudbury, bid bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Town, or a cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Town of Sudbury.
The Town of Sudbury acting through the Town Manager, reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, or to accept any total bid or unit price which he deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Sudbury.
