Public Works Receives $500,000 From MassDOT

Sudbury received $500,000 in funding from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to provide safe and accessible options for all travel modes – walking, biking, transit and vehicles – for people of all ages and abilities. 

Improvements to the following intersections will be funded:

1. Old Lancaster Road and Peakham Road
2. Hudson Road and Fairbank Road
3. Concord Road, Old Lancaster Road and Union Avenue

Work will begin May 1 at the intersection of Old Lancaster and Peakham Road.  Hours of construction will be from 9AM to 4 PM.  Delays are to be expected through the work zones as alternating traffic will be necessary with the assistance of police details.
