2026-CS-1 Goodnow Library Crosswalk and Sidewalk Upgrade
The Town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, represented by the Town Manager, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors prequalified by the MassDOT with a class of work as Highway – Sidewalk and Curbing for the project with an estimate value of $116,737.50 will be required under this contract:

In accordance with M.G.L. c.30, Section 39M, the Town of Sudbury seeks sealed bids for the 2026 Complete Streets Crosswalk Improvements Project. The work consists Goodnow Library Concord Rd Crosswalk and Sidewalk Upgrade. Work includes excavation, remove and replace of existing HMA sidewalk, remove and relocate of painted crosswalk, installation of granite curb, granite edging, HMA sidewalk, HMA berm, cement concrete curb ramps, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB).

Bid documents may be obtained electronically from the Department of Public Works by contacting 978-440-5421 or by email to Engineering@sudbury.ma.us commencing September 24, 2026 at 8:00 AM.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of treasurers’ check, certified check, bid bond, or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Town of Sudbury.
The Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Director of Public Works, 275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 on or before the date and times stated above, at which times all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Town of Sudbury acting through the Town Manager, reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, or to accept any total bid which he deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Sudbury.
