The Sudbury Health Department and Board of Health are committed to promoting and protecting the health, wellbeing, and safety of all residents. Through collaborative community partnerships and evidence-based practices, we address the diverse and evolving health needs of our community. Our mission encompasses the delivery of comprehensive services, including environmental health inspections, septic system installation, swimming pool, camp, and food service establishment licensing and permitting, communicable disease prevention, emergency preparedness, and support for mental and physical wellness. We strive to foster health equity, address all aspects of the social determinants of health, and empower individuals through education and outreach. In all our endeavors, we uphold integrity, transparency, and compassion as we work towards a healthier, safer, and more resilient community.
