Affordable Homeownership Opportunities, Wellington Woods condominium development in Medford, MA, is being offered via lottery

WELLINGTON WOODS is a private, picturesque residential development of two hundred luxury condominiums in 6 buildings approved by the Medford Zoning Board in 2015, with 20 affordable restricted unit, 10 sold as affordable 1BR and 10 as 2BR.
The six buildings will be developed in phases and it is anticipated that there will be two lotteries, with each lottery to address units available for purchase in 12 – 18 months following the lottery. The dates are subject to change based on building and market conditions. The units offered in lottery 1 are expected to be complete through the Fall of 2020 and the units in lottery 2 complete through the Summer of 2021.
The 6.4 acre lot in this convenient residential area in Medford will house six residential buildings and a complete Recreation Center where owners have use of the outdoor in-ground pool with covered patio, sports court, fitness center, and many other function rooms.

All units will have exclusive use to certain parking (similar to deeded parking) but it is subject to being transferred if required due to HP necessities. The homeowner will also pay monthly real estate taxes using Medford’s 2019 tax rate of $9.60 or $199 per month (1BR) or $216 per month (2BR).
