Town of Sudbury Offers Outdated Computer Equipment to Residents
The Town of Sudbury is offering the public our outdated computer equipment inventory. Sudbury residents have first “dibbs” on all items, and everything is given away on a first come, first serve basis. All of these systems have been tested and are working. We are also giving away 17″ monitors, keyboards and mice, as well as 3 HP printers. There are enough peripherals such that everyone can take home a complete, ready to use system.
Many of these computers are fully internet compatible, include 10/100 ethernet cards, but not modems. They can also be used as stand alone machines for word processing or spreadsheets. The PC’s come with Windows 2000 Professional and the one Macinstosh has OS 9.1.
The Town of Sudbury is giving away the machines listed below in as is condition and we recommend that if you want the equipment you test it before taking it away. If you are interested in coming in and picking up or testing any of the equipment please send us an e-mail at wetherbeei@town.sudbury.ma.us or call us at 978-639-3304 and we will get back to you to set up a time. Generally, we are available from 9-4 pm weekdays. No returns will be accepted. If you have setup problems, we will try to help find volunteers to assist you.
