Lincoln-Sudbury High School Regional Agreement Update
In early 2025, the Lincoln–Sudbury Regional HS School Committee (LSSC) formed a collaborative subcommittee to review and update the district’s regional agreement. The subcommittee brings together three members of the LSSC, including the Chair and Vice Chair, the Lincoln–Sudbury High School Superintendent, and representatives from both the Lincoln and Sudbury Select Boards, reflecting a shared, cross-community approach to this work.
Last updated in 1988, the regional agreement is being reviewed to ensure it aligns with current state law, regulatory guidance, and the way the district operates today. The process is being carried out with guidance from Lincoln–Sudbury High School’s legal counsel and the Regional Governance Coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). The subcommittee anticipates sharing information on the updates to the Regional Agreement with residents in advance of Town Meeting, with votes expected at both the Lincoln and Sudbury Town Meetings.
