Every Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. during the spring, six women’s softball teams head for the softball diamonds at Feeley Field on Raymond Road where they play in the Women’s Recreational Softball League.  The League began about 37 years ago with a group of women who had the desire to play softball, and have some fun. The games continue to this day. The level of play has increased since those early days, and so has the fun.

Anyone can play since it is a slow- pitch league. Team members of all ages and abilities come out for the love of the sport, the friendships and the exercise.

If you live or work in Sudbury and are at least 21 years old, you are eligible to join.  The league has two seasons, spring, which begins in mid April, and summer from late June to Labor Day.

A few of the teams need more players (especially pitchers); if you are interested in more information, please call: Elin Neiterman @ 978-443-8917 or email her elinneiterman@comcast.net  If you are only able to substitute, you can still be included.
