Press Release Regarding Armed Home Invasion 9-27-04

On 9-27-04 at approximately 11:43 AM an armed home invasion occurred on Mossman Road located in North Sudbury. The Suspect entered the residence through an unsecured first floor door. The weapon brandished is being described as a large kitchen knife. At this time the motive appears to be some sort of sexual assault which was unsuccessful as the victim was able to dissuade the suspect through conversation. The victim was not physically injured. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his mid to late 20’s, approximately 5’10” tall, medium build, no facial hair wearing a white and black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head.

The incident remains under investigation. Anybody with information regarding suspicious activity and/or persons please contact the Sudbury Police Department at (978) 443-1042.

The Sudbury Police Department would like to take the opportunity to forewarn citizens of the incident while adding residents should take care to ensure their households are secured even during daylight hours. Additionally, residents should be aware of their surroundings and report any unusual circumstances or encounters with suspicious individuals.
