IMPORTANT Message for New-Residents

An issue has come to our attention where a resident who had recently moved to Sudbury and maintains an Internet Service Provider phone number utilized the 911 system but was routed to a different jurisdiction. Residents who maintain an ISP phone number that have recently moved to Sudbury should ensure they update their provider with their current information. After having done so, we encourage our residents to contact the Sudbury Police Department at (978) 443-1042 in order to conduct a test to verify the system is updated appropriately. PLEASE DO NOT CALL 911 UNTIL you have spoken with the dispatcher.
