On January 8, 2012 at 12:00 AM the process for moving the house at 407 Boston Post Road to prepare the property for construction of the new TD Bank commences.  Due to numerous utility lines that need to be manipulated in order to move the house across the street to 400 Boston Post the process is going to take a substantial portion of the day therefore impacting traffic on Boston Post Road and Raymond Road as follows.

  • Boston Post Road will be closed to through traffic at Concord Road and Union Avenue.  Detours will be in place to route the traffic around the affected portion of Boston Post Road.
  • Access to local businesses is allowed in that locations up to Rugged Bear Plaza can be accessed via the Union Avenue (rear entrance next to the Post Office) and locations up to Dunkin Donuts can be accessed via the Concord Road side detour.
  • Raymond Road will be closed to through traffic at Warren Road with a detour rerouting traffic out to Landham Road.  Residents of Raymond Road will be able to access their property from the Warren Road detour, not via Boston Post Road.

This process is expected to continue into the early evening according to utility crew estimates as well as the actual moving of the structure so please adjust accordingly.
