We are urging residents to use caution given the numerous power lines that are down.  Every effort has been made to mark dangerous areas that we are aware of but some hidden dangers remain.  Caution tape is there to warn of danger so please take notice and do not remove.  There are extensive repairs ahead that NStar has been made aware of although there is no estimate as to their completion.  Numerous roads to include several major routes remain closed.  We will do our best to keep the site updated.  As we can we will update further closings of numerous other secondary and side streets.

Please refrain from calling 911 unless an emergency is ocurring.  Questions on when the power will come back on, school closures, or what roads are open are not appropriate for 911.  Closures are on our website and have been disseminated to local media.  Power questions should be directed to NStar at (800) 592-2000.

We appreciate your patience.
