Free “Eco-Friendly Lawn” Seminar May 14
Join the Sudbury Ponds & Waterways Committee and the Hop Brook Protection Association for a free seminar on eco-friendly lawns Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at the Goodnow Library (21 Concord Road, Sudbury). The panel discussion and Q&A session will give varying perspectives on what you can do to make your lawn care environmentally friendly – and help keep our drinking water clean and safe.
The panel will be made up of:
Jackson Madnick, former chairperson of Wayland’s Surface Water Quality Committee and distributor of Pearl’s Premium Ultra Low Maintenance Grass Seed, who will discuss “Ultimate Green Lawns”; Tom Sciacca, a member of the Wayland Wellhead Protection Committee, who will share his experiences with an organic lawn in Wayland Center; and Michael Murray, owner of Organic Soil Solutions, who will give the larger picture of organic lawn care options.
