Former Selectman John Taft Passes Away

Word was received today that former resident John Taft passed away on Thursday, May 6th, in Brewster, MA, where he and his wife have resided for many years.
Mr. Taft was a Selectman from 1964 – 1976; a long-time member of the Finance Committee, Trustee of The Sudbury Foundation and much more. His presence in Sudbury was widespread, and his spirit of volunteerism on behalf of his community was generous and heartfelt. Condolences are offered to his family and friends.
