Free Nicotine Patches for Smokers
From July 1, 2008 to August 31, 2008 (or while supplies last), nicotine patches will be available for free to Massachusetts residents who call 1-800-Try-To-Stop, as long as they meet certain health guidelines. Most smokers will qualify for free patches, though those with certain medical conditions – pregnancy, recent heart attack, and other medical conditions – will not qualify.
These patches help reduce your body’s craving for nicotine and make it easier to quit smoking.
The kits include a two-week supply of patches, along with quit tips and information on resources for smokers who want to quit.
1-800-Try-To-Stop is open for extended hours through August 31, 2008:
- Monday through Friday 9:00am – 9:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday 10:00am – 6:00pm
