The  Fairbank Community Center Task Force, in partnership with The Permanent Building Committee (PBC) has been working with Boston design firm, Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc., to develop conceptual designs for a multigenerational Community Center. The preliminary designs, and supporting operating plan, has been completed and was presented on March 26th in a well-attended public Forum.  The PowerPoint presentation presented that evening is available for your review and is attached to this story. The Design team heard from Sudbury residents about pros and cons with the preliminary design concepts and construction costs associated with those options. Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc will be finalizing the feasibility Study in April and the final report  will be posted on the Task Force web site.

The Task Force, PBC and Town will continue efforts to insure all citizens have a  chance to share their views, input and ideas during the design of the new Community Center. The Public Forum was a great opportunity to be face-to-face with the design firm and members of the Task Force and PBC and to hear ideas and opinions from interested residents.
