The Town of Sudbury, acting through the Sudbury Housing Trust, is preparing an update to the 2011 Housing Production Plan. In accordance with State requirements, the Plan must be updated every 5 years. By taking a proactive approach in keeping the Housing Production Plan active, the Town is better able to achieve its affordable housing goals and avail itself of the protections under MGL c. 40B.

A workshop was held on February 29, 2016 to receive public input on goals and strategies to include in the updated plan.

The Housing Production Plan will be reviewed by the Board of Selectmen and the Planning Board on March 22 and 23, respectively.

Information on the Town’s current percentage of affordable housing, and looking into the future, can be found on the January 28, 2016 memo to the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen.
