Substitute Reference Librarian
The Goodnow Library seeks an enthusiastic substitute Reference Librarian to provide outstanding customer service to its patrons.
We’re looking for someone who is able to shift gears smoothly and prioritize patron needs. The ideal candidate will be available to cover daytime shifts, be detail oriented, and be able to effectively answer patron questions. Knowledge of current popular literature and solid technology skills, including competency with mobile platforms, are preferred qualifications. Recent or current experience in public libraries is a plus.
Shifts are irregular, week day availability highly desired, may include evenings or weekends. MLIS and one to three years of related experience required. MLIS students are strongly encouraged to apply. A CORI (criminal record) check will be required for the successful candidate. $27.14/hr. to start.
