Where Do I Dispose of Needles & Prescription Medications?

For Medications:

The town of Sudbury Police Department at 75 Hudson Rd, Sudbury MA has a drop box at in the lobby which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just walk in and place it in the box. The Police Department accepts:

  • Prescription & non-prescription over-the-counter medications 
  • Vitamins
  • Medication samples
  • Veterinary Medications
  • Narcotics

For Needles and Syringes:

To dispose of needles / syringes only, please bring them to the Board of Health at 275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, MA during office hours 8 a.m – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday. 

  • All Syringes should be in a hard plastic container
  • Please bring your license as proof of residence
