Eversource is scheduled to begin removing and replacing their communications tower on Nobscot Hill in Framingham. The existing communications tower is used to support energy operations, city facilities, as well as other communications providers. Work is scheduled to begin in early July and is expected to be complete by fall, 2019 (weather permitting). The hours for construction are 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This tower is located on Nobscot Hill in Framingham, but crews will be accessing the site via Brimstone Lane in Sudbury.  Abutting property owners in Framingham and Sudbury can expect to see construction vehicles accessing the sites, including heavy equipment, performing site preparation and mowing, receiving deliveries and assembling sections of the new tower, replacing the existing tower with a new steel structure that is approximately 40 feet taller, transferring hardware from the existing to the new structure and testing hardware and disassembling the existing tower.

Eversource is committed to being a good neighbor and doing their work with respect for residents and their property.  If you have any questions about this work, please call 800-793-2202 or email Eversource at ProjectInfo@eversource.com.
