The League of Women Voters of Sudbury is sponsoring a public forum, “What is Ranked Choice Voting?,” Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Sudbury Town Hall, 322 Concord Rd., Sudbury.

A speaker from Voter Choice Massachusetts, a non-partisan organization working to implement ranked choice voting in the state, will explain how this system, which allows voters to rank the candidates in the order they prefer rather than just pick one candidate, works. Maine adopted ranked choice voting last year, the first state to do so.

The forum is free and open to all.
