Message from Town Manager Henry Hayes, Jr:

Residents of Sudbury, please know that I appreciate your desire to participate in a coordinated effort to honor Earth Day as well as clean up around the Town.  I have seen your heart and suspect that some of you will be disappointed with the decision I am making.  My goal is to sustain the principle of not encouraging opportunities where some may gather and potentially contract or spread the COVID-19 disease.  Although the risk, in some situations may be low, I cannot reassure you that there is no risk at all.  Neither can we fully prevent interactions that may cross the germ field/spray when certain types of interactions occur.  Therefore, in keeping with other Town sanctioned activities, the publicized clean-up day, sponsored or encouraged by the Town of Sudbury is postponed to a date yet to be identified.
