Several Town Offices Following Summer Schedule

While Sudbury Town buildings are currently closed to the public as a measure to limit the spread of COVID-19, Town services are available remotely during regular business hours. Starting July 6 through August 28, 2020, some Town offices will be following a four day (Monday – Thursday) summer schedule. Friday, July 10 will be the first Friday that offices are closed. Employees will work the same number of hours each week by working extended hours Monday through Thursday.

 

The revised schedule will begin Monday, July 6, 2020, and will affect offices in Town Hall and the Flynn Building. Offices in these two buildings will be closed on Fridays from July 10th through August 28rd, with the exception of the Selectmen/Town Manager’s Office and IT Department, which will observe their regular Monday – Friday schedule. In addition, the Town Clerk’s Office will participate from July 6 through August 14, and resume normal hours as of August 17 due to early voting for the State Primary on September 1. Offices will be open to serve the public with extended hours as follows:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday closed

 

The following Town departments will be following this compressed schedule:

  •  Assessor
  •  Human Resources
  •  Planning and Community Development
  •  Tax Collector/Treasurer
  •  Town Accountant
  •  Town Clerk (July 6 – August 14)
  •  Veterans’ Services (please check website for office hours)

 

The following offices will NOT be observing the summer schedule and will be operating on regular hours:  Atkinson Pool, Board of Health, Building Department, Conservation, Council on Aging, Engineering, Fire Department, Goodnow Library, Highway Department, Information Systems, Police Department, Recreation Department and Selectmen/Town Manager’s Office.

 

All offices will return to their regular Monday – Friday schedule beginning Monday, August 31st.
