Beginning on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021, Eversource and its approved contractor will begin the demolition of the old communications tower on Nobscot Hill, located at 400 Brimstone Lane in Framingham. Local residents and property-owning abutters can expect to see and hear crews working at the site of the tower during normal working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Power supplies to radio equipment will be deenergized and temporarily replaced by backup generators beginning on June 14th, 2021 – no residents will lose power during this process; however, the portable generators will run 24 hours a day until power is restored. Normal electrical power to the radio stations will be restored on June 17th.

Eversource is committed to being a good neighbor and doing their work with respect for residents and their property.  If you have any questions about this work, please call 800-793-2202 or email Eversource at ProjectInfo@eversource.com.
