June 20, 2017 – The intent of this note is to keep you informed of field activities as they relate to the proposed Sudbury to Hudson Transmission Reliability Project. Beginning later this week and continuing for the next few months, Eversource and/or its authorized representatives will be performing various field activities such as land and environmental surveys on the MBTA property.  The MBTA has given permission to Eversource and its authorized representatives to access the corridor to proceed with the necessary field related activities.  The contractor performing this survey work is Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB).  They will be carrying appropriate identification when in the field.

The land survey activities to be performed by VHB will be completed in such a way that there will be no trimming or cutting of vegetation.  Crews will be walking within the MBTA corridor limits as needed to collect the required data. These activities will not result in alteration to federal, state, or local wetland jurisdictional areas. Survey work will be performed at various times between 7a.m. – 7p.m., Monday – Saturday.

If the community has any additional questions about these activities, please have them call our Project hotline (1-800-793-2202) or email TransmissionInfo@eversource.com for a prompt response.
