Locally Grown Sudbury Farmer’s Market & Fair

The Locally Grown Sudbury Fair & Farmer’s Market will take place Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 10am to 2pm at the Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Road. The event will bring local farmers and gardeners to the community to increase access to fresh, healthy food, discover the connection between local food systems and overall well-being, and explore ways to be less susceptible to climate disruptions.

Location & Parking

The event will be held inside the gym and multipurpose room at the Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Road, Sudbury, MA 01776.

Food Assistance

Sudbury Board of Health is pleased to provide coupon booklets for those in need of assistance. The booklets contain certificates in $1 and $5 denominations, totaling $75 for individuals or couples and $100 for families. These certificates will be accepted by all vendors at the May 31 Locally Grown Farmer’s Market & Fair.

Eligibility requirements for coupon booklet:

Sudbury resident

AND

Living in subsidized housing

Receiving one or more of the following benefits
- SNAP (Food stamps)
- Economic Assistance (Cash benefits- TAFDC, EAEDC)
- Fuel assistance
- Unemployment

A limited number of booklets are available. Apply for your coupon booklet today!

If you do not meet these criteria, but have financial need, please reach out to socialworker@sudbury.ma.us.

Town Manager

The Select Board and Town Manager provide executive leadership for the Town of Sudbury. Together, they pursue collaborative process and ethical and professional procedures to insure that Town resources are directed to providing the best services possible to protect public safety, public assets and a special quality of life in Sudbury. This office supports the Board and the Town Manager as they work toward this mission.

Description of Services

The Town Manager is appointed by the Select Board and is responsible for the management of all Town departments. The Town Manager is the appointing and contracting authority for all departments except the schools and the health department, and is responsible for overseeing all budgetary, financial and personnel administration activities of the Town. This includes preparing the annual budget, appointing all staff and setting compensation, formulating and implementing personnel policies, and negotiating all contracts with the Town’s union employees. Administrative staff in the office serves as liaison between the public and the Select Board, handle all phone calls, visitors and correspondence directed to the office, and maintain all records of Select Board meetings. The office staff prepares the warrants for all annual and special Town Meetings, election notices for all elections, and coordinates the Town’s Annual Report. They maintain records of all committee and board appointments and resignations – as well as the Select Board’s section of the Town’s web site.
