Due to snow accumulation in Town Center, the WINTER FESTIVAL (formerly known as the Tree Lighting) was moved to outside the FAIRBANK COMMUNITY CENTER, 40 Fairbank Road.

Come out to meet friends and neighbors for an evening of holiday fun!

Please note, this is an OUTDOOR EVENT.
  • No public restrooms will be available
  • Be sure to bundle up for low temps
Event activities will be situated in the parking lot outside of the Atkinson Pool. Parking will be available in the lots adjacent to Haskell Field and the Senior Center/SPS Administration.

What happened to the Tree Lighting?

With ice and snow covering the Town Hall Lawn and Common, Public Safety determined that, unfortunately, the Tree Lighting cannot be held in Town Center this year. Rather than cancel the event altogether, it is relocated as a Winter Festival at the Fairbank Community Center. It was a difficult decision to move the event, but we have to put safety first. Luckily, we have Food Trucks, Mr. Vic, Santa, Olaf and more to bring the holiday fun! Come out to meet friends and neighbors and celebrate the winter season.
